Our Design and Joinery teams often work together to design practical and beautiful wellness spaces for our clients with areas dedicated to exercise and beauty. Our Designers enjoy the challenge of transforming a whole floor to include a pool, sauna, steam room, gym, beauty and treatment rooms. Our Joinery team can add clever features to an existing pool or gym space, or design the whole area from a blank slate. Our designs include beautiful cabinetry for personalised storage along with inbuilt technology all using materials suited to the temperature requirements and usage of each room.

A beauty area can be as simple as a dedicated make-up table, perhaps in the master suite or dressing room, or a bench or seating unit added to a shower or steam room. Our clients often request an integrated make-up and skincare fridge, plus multiple shelves and compartmentalised drawers for product storage. Mirrored cabinets are crucial, with clever lighting – both inside the cabinet itself and around the mirror. 

Our Joinery team will build and install all the required storage, benches and mirrored wall panels for exercise areas. Our design team knows that these areas need not look plain and utilitarian, and our clients appreciate elements of luxury whilst exercising. If a pool area is included in the project, we may also be building changing spaces. Our designers will create schemes that maintain a sense of elegance, using combinations of materials, from plain timbers for benches to more glamorous materials for beauty stations, treatment couches and relaxing areas. 

ABOUT ROCHFORD JOINERY

Based in North London, our workshop has a team of highly skilled craftsmen working with the latest equipment to sculpt wood, glass, marble, stone and metals, including bronze, brass, chrome and nickel, fabrics, leathers, wallpapers and other specialist finishes. We also have our own spray room which allows us to offer a spraying service in any colour or stain including gloss, matt, liquid metal, stained timber and mirror finishes.
