Our Joinery team are particularly adept at building and installing under-stair storage systems – which may be the transformation of unused spaces or the creation of new ones. These new rooms may be kitted out as overflow coat rooms, boot rooms, utility spaces or just some extra storage room for items like luggage and sports kit.

When Rochford Joinery takes on full-home projects we take the empty shell of an apartment or house, and then consider every single surface. Our Joinery team build and install staircases, along with handrails, spindles and balustrades, all of which are bespoke designs, specifically for that particular stairwell and its landings. Entrance halls can be complex, as they involve bringing together lots of design strands, such as the exterior door, the hall panelling, skirting, ceiling features, dado rails all to work in harmony – and be perfectly and precisely installed. They construct window seats, which may involve matching details to panelling and window joinery. And if the window is a bay window in a period home we will create a joinery scheme that complements the history and character of a period home.   

Lighting is often rather important in these ‘extra’ spaces, which may be making the most of unused storage areas. The Joinery team can install lighting that switches on when cupboard doors are opened. Mirrors, mirror frames and picture frames are also on the Joinery list of achievements, these smaller items are often commissioned to add the finishing touches to bedroom and living room schemes. Our Joinery team can also design bespoke cabinets to house AV, sound and security systems, particularly for cinema rooms and living rooms.

We also have our own spray room which allows us to offer a spraying service in any colour or stain including gloss, matt, liquid metal, stained timber and mirror finishes.
